Create on Maui: A Quilter's Retreat is the brainchild of Dee Conlon of Dee's Quilt Designs. After years of encouragement by friends in the quilting and tourism industries, she decided that 2015 is the year to start this venture. In addition to Dee, several Hawaii-based quilt designers and teachers will be lending a hand in making Create on Maui a success. We hope you will join us! Dee Conlon Dee has been a quilter since the mid-1970's, and turned to teaching and designing quilts after leaving behind her life as a computer consultant and moving to Maui in 2001. Along with her patterns, magazine articles and books, Dee is also known for her unique Maui Hand Dyes, many of which have been used by renowned quilters and fiber artists. As the technology for wearable electronics has evolved, Dee has begun to incorporate lights in her work. Kathleen Kastles
